After today's class, Michael and I finished our first conversation partner meeting at Hecht House. We firstly introduced each other and I realized that he is Italian American. He helped me solved a puzzle that pizza was actually invented by Italian Americans, so pizza is not from Italy! It is a total American food! Besides, I learned that students here are more encouraged to speak in class, compared with students in China. I thought discussion was a good way to learn new knowledge.
