Today, Ignacio and I met up at La Tiendita, which was he is working at. The entire tutoring session lasted an hour long. Overall, it was more like a casual conversation partner meetup. We talked about how we picked up our second language that his was English and mine as well was English. He mentioned about the rule of under 12 years old saying kids who are under 12 can pick up a second language fast. Ignacio learned English when he was 6 and I kind of touched English when I was 8 or 9 so learning a foreign language at a younger age really helps. Then, we talked about some idioms such as "it rains cats and dogs", "your eyes are bigger than your stomach", "I am so hungry that I can eat a horse" etc.. In this session, we got to know each other and I look forward for the next time.
